Why choose a British Council-accredited English school?
Because accreditation guarantees inspected quality: teaching, facilities, management and student welfare reviewed by an official body. Also, only licensed schools can issue the CAS needed for long courses with a visa. The 8 schools APEX-UK works with are British Council-accredited.

What British Council accreditation is
The British Council, with English UK, inspects UK English schools through the Accreditation UK scheme. An accredited school has passed an independent inspection of its academic quality and management, and is re-inspected periodically. It is not a badge you buy: it is earned and maintained.
What exactly it reviews
The inspection covers centre management, resources and the learning environment, teaching quality, and student care and welfare (including safeguarding where relevant). So not just "how they teach", but how they look after and inform you as an international student.
Why it matters to you
Three concrete reasons: 1) real quality, not marketing; 2) verified safety and welfare, key if you travel alone abroad; 3) eligibility to issue the CAS you need if your course exceeds 11 months and requires a Student visa. A non-accredited school may be cheaper, but you take on more risk.
How to verify it yourself
You can check whether a school is accredited in the official Accreditation UK / British Council directory. Be wary of anyone promising "guarantees" without verifiable accreditation. Transparency about accreditation is a good sign of seriousness.
