Shipping
All surrounds
are shipped using standard parcel post (2-3 days) by a national carrier.
Substantial packaging is used for safe transit. Prices below apply to
UK mainland. Insurance is optional and
can be specified at checkout.

Warranty
All
surrounds and other items are manufactured to the highest standards and checked
for quality before despatch and come with a 30-day warranty against defective
workmanship or materials, so items can be returned for repair or a refund. If
the item returned is damaged due to improper packing back to us, either charges
will be applied or the refund will be reduced accordingly. In all cases, the
original packaging with inserts in place must be used, anything else will
invalidate the warranty. If the customer elects to have the surround repaired by
a third party, such repairs will invalidate the warranty and all costs will be
borne by the customer. Additionally, at our discretion, we reserve the right to charge a
handling fee for any other losses incurred (eg, in the case of returned custom made
surrounds). Naturally, this warranty does not cover damage caused by
misuse or if furniture is exposed to excessive amounts of heat or moisture.
Please note however that the surrounds are hand made from a natural
product, so it is natural for them to have minor blemishes.
This is what differentiates them from factory produced surrounds - they have
character! Similarly, due to the manufacturing process, we cannot guarantee all measurements will be exactly
as specified, only that they will be accurate to within 3 or 4%. However, if you need a surround to fit
exactly, for example, into an existing gap in
a dado rail or skirting board, etc, please specify this before an order is placed
and we will do our utmost to provide you with an exact fit.
Damage in Post
All surrounds are dispatched in heavy-duty, recycled cardboard boxes.
In the very unlikely event an item is damaged in transit, you must inform us
within 24 hours via email or telephone customer services, in which case the
surround will be collected from you, replaced/repaired and returned to you free
of charge. If additional insurance was taken out at checkout, damage
notified after 24hours will also be covered but you must inform us no
later than 3 days after delivery. Damage notified after 24 hours or after
3 days if insurance was taken out, is not covered, so any
repair/replacement/carriage costs will be borne by the customer.
Any other damage however caused is not covered by the warranty.
Money-back Guarantee
If your
furniture should fail to please in any way, simply return it unused
and in the original packaging within 7 days of purchase for a full
refund, no questions asked. This offer excludes postage and packaging and custom
made surrounds. Packaging and
contents must be in pristine condition and the item must not have been used in
any way or installed. Requests for exchanges after 7 days will be subject
to a restocking fee, currently 15% of the total, original purchase price.
